SNOW REMINDERS

Just a reminder that residents are responsible for maintaining the sidewalks in front of their homes and they must have them cleared of ice and snow within 24 hours of a snow event per Pleasant Hills Borough Code. 

Please also follow these dos and don'ts of a snow event:

Do not park on the street to ensure snowplows can safely and efficiently clear the roads.

Double parking is strictly prohibited, as it makes it difficult for snowplows to navigate and delays snow removal.

Pushing snow into the streets is prohibited. This includes moving your vehicle into the street to remove snow and ice – it’s no different than throwing snow onto the roadway and creates hazards for drivers and plows alike.
