bootay2Pleasant Hills welcomes Robert S. Bootay, III as Mayor.

Rob is a lifelong and fourth-generation resident of the Borough. He currently resides on Dutch Lane with his wife, Liz, and their three children, Grace, Bobby and David. Rob graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington & Jefferson College and his Juris Doctorate degree from Duquesne University.

Rob has been practicing law in his Pleasant Hills office for more than a decade. He currently serves as the Senior Member of Bootay Bevington & Nichols, LLC. He is also the Broker / Owner of All Pittsburgh Real Estate, LLC. Both of these organizations are located in the Borough. Rob also serves as Director and General Legal Counsel for Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics located at the County Airport.

Prior to being elected Mayor, Rob was a two-term elected councilman and served as an appointed member of the Borough's Planning Commission. He has also clerked for the United States Senate and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

Rob is committed to the safety and economic growth of our Borough. He also has a firm appreciation of the Borough's history and will work to preserve and enhance its longstanding sense of community. Feel free to contact Rob for any municipal matter.


Borough Code 356-26 states that parking on Borough streets is PROHIBITED if there is six (6) inches or more of accumulated snow or ice.  No person may shovel, throw, toss, blow or otherwise deposit snow or ice from their lawn, driveway or sidewalk onto Borough Streets.


All Pleasant Hills and surrounding communities please make sure to lock your car doors.  PLEASE DO NOT leave handbags, wallets or any high priced items, such as a GPS, laptops, iPod's or cell phones on the seats or floorboards of your vehicle.  Call 911 if you see any suspicious person(s) or vehicles in the area, especially at night.

No vehicle shall be parked upon any public street within the limits of the Borough for a period longer than 30 minutes between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
