PART TIME ACCOUNTS PAYABLE/RECEIVABLE SPECIALIST
The Borough of Pleasant Hills is seeking applicants for a part time Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist with excellent organizational skills. The primary responsibility of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialist will be to ensure the proper and accurate entry and coding of accounting related transactions, invoices, purchase orders, and the timely submission of customer payments for bank deposits. The successful Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialist will be highly proficient in coding invoices and check deposits into multiple Fund Accounts conforming to standard procedures to ensure proper entry into the financial system. Process and balance all revenues, enter and post journal entries, generate checks, process purchase orders, billing invoices and perform related duties as assigned.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, prior experience in the AP/AR field and basic understanding of general accounting, AccuFund Accounting experience preferred.
PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT SUMMER HELP
The Borough of Pleasant Hills is seeking applicants for summer help in the Public Works Department. Work duties include: grass cutting & trimming, field and park maintenance & clean-up and labor on road construction projects. General work hours are Monday thru Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
