National Night Out
July 26th, 2016
On Tuesday July 26th, from 7 pm to 9pm, residents of Pleasant Hills are invited to join the police department in celebration of our 22nd annual National Night Out event. Citizens are asked to join the Pleasant Hills Police Department, Public Works, Pleasant Hills Volunteer Fire Company, Baldwin E.M.S and American Legion Post 712 in taking a stand against crime, drugs and violence.
Residents are asked to turn on outside lights, come outside and join their neighbors in welcoming the procession of public safety personnel and equipment as it travels throughout the borough.
Due to the growing success of prior National Night Out events and the large number of participating vehicles, it has become necessary to have a pre-set route for the procession to follow. This, unfortunately, will mean that we can no longer respond to requests to pass by each function or gathering.
To assure that a police officer vistis you and your neighbors, residents are asked to call 412-655-5045 from 7:30am - 3:30pm to register their gathering or function.
